that depends on many factors. If you need just load the small piece of data once than you could use blade, otherwise AJAX may be a better choice

but if you worried about speed or something like that use chache if you can apply redis that realy good or not used laravel default file storage.

but use api or ajax or pre loading in blade depend many factories .

for example i can say if you need SEO that better you used preload and init all data in blade files
this is very important reason for that

and another example i can say if you have any other ajax request the pre load is better

in some times preload is faster from ajax just before page is loading but after loading ajax better from post request for example

yes but why do that? you are just increasing the size of your class. models are query builders too

I wrote “try” because fillable issue shouldn’t trigger the SQLSTATE error but something like “column is not mass-assignable” or “column cannot be null”. So I think issue is with wrong DB in config (or wrong DB is opened in the phpmyadmin)
