You will have to look for resource online, a API or worst case copy and paste from Wikipedia.

Everything depend in the project, you could work with it as images, i wouldnt store it in DB, but at the end is your sistem so is your choice.

The problem is that life is not so binary, for some cases it could be a option,
Example:
-Creating a new table to put the name and direction of the avatar of a user is not necesary you could just put in user table a column name logo.
– Creating a new table to store name and direction of images from a product is something normal, setting several columns with image1,image2,etc would not be exactly a good choice.
Both cases are the “same”, Should i create a new table to store the src/url of a image?
