Packages are a big problem. But for rapid dev we cant work without packages.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:03:12
still can, even have to
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:03:23
otherwise you can stuck in Junior rank
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:03:27
with no any knowledge
2020-04-15 17:03:33
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:03:37
and you can never create something without packages
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:04:00
I dont say that “do not use packages”
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:04:04
but keep it minimalist
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:04:15
try to do things as much as its possible, without them
2020-04-15 17:04:24
you are the best guide for beginners
2020-04-15 17:04:27
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:04:45
no no :)) just informing people
2020-04-15 17:04:49
Yes. Must stick with only packages we cant work without.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:05:09
also, folks, its just an opinion
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:05:50
try to build admin dashboard without a help of packages like Voyager/Backpack/QuickAdmin only if you want to be a developer.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:05:59
they are cool packages, but you cant learn to solve.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:06:05
with their helps all is simple.
2020-04-15 17:06:51
Yes. It will take time but eventually things get done.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:07:04
once you do, then just modify 🙂
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:07:19
this is how things work in dev
2020-04-15 17:08:18
Yes. People use readymade shopping carts and intervention package for images when things can be done without them.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:11:19
and they when appears kind of error, they cant locate and solve it. looking for someone who faced such errors before
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:11:23
I dont blame people
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:11:31
noone can know everything
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:11:50
so this is not the correct way of usage Laravel. 🙂
2020-04-15 17:12:17
Thats right also many a times things cone down to how much you are being paid for a project.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:12:40
for junior there is almost no profit.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:12:52
ops 🙂
2020-04-15 17:13:45
Yes, for juniors it is an uphill task. Needs a lot of work.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:14:37
even as a Senior I cant find any projects on upwork :)))
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:14:57
so I dont work as freelancer, have my own clients and its enough for now
2020-04-15 17:15:21
There is a lot of competition in php dev.
Siberfx 2020-04-15 17:15:42
most even juniors :))

hi to all of you
I have a strange question:
Is “isDirty” eloquent function working also on “updated” or “created” event?
I know that, if I save a model (->save()), then isDirty is clear.
What if I use isDirty function in “created” or “updated” event? Does it works? Does it reset AFTER or BEFORE the “created” and “updated” events?
