I want a default package like auth in laravel 6 that moved to external package laravel/ui (I didn’t know this) to work with api
I found out that it works with api too and return json for xhr requests

you are probably using ->count() on something that is not countable.. maybe it’s boolean or null
check the variable that you’re trying to do ->count() on

Hi guys, I’ve talked about envvars in production with sysadmin (I don’t use .env in prod) and he ask me why APP_ENV=production must be setted. I don’t use it in my codebase. What behaviors does APP_ENV=production change in laravel and why should we change it?

There are a lot of use to it, for example many packages do different things if the app is in development or in production, you can specify packages to be installed only in development, you could apply extra configuration if you are in production or staging.

For example i use env for seeder, so it will seed dummy data only in development.
