Do anyone know how can I host the laravel site in cpanel. This is the third time I’m asking. I actually done tge half of the work putting it on server but the think is the host site is using laravel 8 and my project is in laravel 5.4 that’s why it is not running on the domain. If anyone have solution to this please tell

Zip all files upload into public_html extract, move contents of public to root (public_html), edit the index file remove ../ from the first twk includes, save, delete files in your bootstrap/cache folder upload your database and hook up your env

VIKI laravel supports the following drivers “local”, “ftp”, “sftp”, “s3”. Most of us interract with “local” which stores files in the same disk the laravel app runs. By default when u upload a file, it will go under public/ folder. This is a problem in some cases since everything in this folder is accessible publicly. For instance public/index.php, assets(‘app.css’) and so on. If u have profile images of a popular app in public/ it will be messy. Anyone can downloads all your photos! Thats why we have /storage. Instead of using public for images, u create a symbolic link. This means your images directory has changed and no one can guess the path. Only your app knows the file paths(remember laravel can generates hashed filename for u). Hope this helps.

symbolic link has a cmd *php artisan storage:link* no other configuration needed

Okk let me tryy… believe me after Angular Laravel is too complex… I found Django to be much simpler to understand… and creating cms from it was fast and swift….
