This is how I added my components to a blade file:

<livewire:componentA />
<livewire:componentB />

I haven’t worked on with live wire…..i was using <x-componentA/>
<x-componentB/>
They they both are inside a div….but its not working

If that is the case then my understanding is components do function more so as a controller but I stand to be corrected

Guys how to safely secure bank and card details in database?

I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but you must use some encryption method, so you apply it to the password getting a hash (that’s the one you store). Then everytime, the user provides a password you apply that function to it and check if the result matches with that hash. This is just the general modo, Laravel must come with a library to do that in an easy way. I’ve never had to do it before, at least not with Laravel

Agree. One should never store credit card or back details in the DB. Major reasons being:

1. Most startups-to-medium business do not have buget for security

2. You need to comply with PCI standards (good luck with that)

3. Admin/staff users can mishandle the information (unless you are using a secure DB such as MSSQL which has advance security features)

… and many more

Solution is to use third party api such as pesapal that are PCI compliant. That way you not only shift liability but also save infrastructure cost

So a payment gateway will do the thing then how it will get to know which bank I’m sending

Security goes beyond the type of database. It is about security features offered.

There is reason why we have various payments gateways. Each offers different features. You have to read the document before you select.

Don’t escape blade links. Check the pagination component to make sure it is showing the right buttons.

In Stripe and RazorPay you have the option to split the payments.

NOTE – Think that the website charges 1% Comission for paltform for every successfuly transaction from the vendors then

Eg – Consider that in 1 day only 1 customer has purcahsed from Vendor

1. Customer purchases some product worth of $100

2. $100 – Will get transfered to company Website account

3. After T + X days the $99 will get credited to Vendor account by deducting the website charges and other deductions as per webiste terms.

Like every customer can have multiple address. Similarly vendor can have multiple bank details.

But any given point of time only 1 account will be considered primary account

NOTE – Make sure to secure you database server by only accessing via SSH. Dont install PhpMyAdmin in that server. You can use SequelAce, TablePlus, MYSQLWorkbench to access via SSH Key

Any try creating new users for the server other than root.

Create users for MYSQL which will have limited access for everything.

There might be an option in the Payment Gateway where they will allow this feature to do directly.

This is very much wrong. Dont send the amount directly to the Vendor bank.

Think that if customer returns the product or something then you dont have any rights to touch the Vendors bank account. On the other hand if you have your company account and some or other way these kind of situations arise then you can play around very easily.

flyingdragons 2021-05-28 18:59:00
Not sure if you have this in your business plan. But this is a standard way to play safe.
