How can you have extract and a loop on the same variable?

themanojyadav 2022-06-14 15:39:03
$result = User::where(’email’, $decryptedEmail)->update([
‘password’ => Hash::make($request->password),
‘last_updated_by’ => $decryptedEmail
]);

]);

Hey guys, this is not updating the password. But returns true.

From my understanding of that code extract takes post variables and the loop does some sort o validation if im not mistaken. but for those two mentioned lines in particular i don’t get a logic

that’s no way to be doing it, no sanitization?

The problem comes from your query
mynameisbrad 2022-06-14 17:05:49
Can you take a screenshot of your controller as well?

sure

mynameisbrad 2022-06-14 17:10:06
So basically you are iterating each product and in your blade you have if ($product->status == 0), and in the controller you are taking only products with status == 1. Also you are limiting all of your products to 6.

Yes, don’t limit them and also maybe you want to take all of the products

mynameisbrad 2022-06-14 17:12:29

I want to have an option to make them out of stock therefore not be shown on the page.

That part works fine, seems like you’re right the limitation messed it up.
mynameisbrad 2022-06-14 17:13:01
Yeah just delete the limit and you should recieve all of the producs

Don’t do this

segungreat 2022-06-14 18:17:20
I also noticed there are too much queries here which can affect the performance of the code and database and when things get big and large

Where was the “$password” initialized and also don’t use MD5 to hash passwords

The csrf_token you sent in the request is invalid/incorrect

Sorry I started learning laravel not long ago but I keep facing issues when migrating files to database
elvinsharpysly 2022-06-14 19:41:22
Is there any particular video tutorial you will suggest to me to get clear knowledge of how to about it

The csrf_token you sent in the request is invalid/incorrect

It works on local in general, but the production mode shows this error that I did not use csrf at all, I work with, api

segungreat 2022-06-14 19:54:44
Don’t mistake api route with ajax requests, it common mistake with many people.

When making ajax request, it can either be to a web route or api route. If you make post request to a web route you need to send csrf token but if using I think you need to api token for that
