you need to check out your mysql logs and to understand why the query is running so many times
smlkw 2020-04-11 00:37:10
maybe your server is slow

Something I’m building has a votes system, with a user being able to cast a single upvote or downvote.
Should I represent this in the DB as a signed tinyint column, or as an enum with +1 and -1 as the options?
Did you know how to do it?
sea1011 2020-04-11 17:44:34
Because i want to do it in my app

I m using a function to find out one id’s ancestor ids which is in hierarchical level… it is working fine in some DBs.. but,ina a particular db its not working.. it got hanged..
Except the fact that this function is not needed for a fuck, I can’t say anything. There are no details, no errors, nothing.
I recommend you dropping this function out and add the subquery to the place that uses this function
MasterZiv 2020-04-11 17:45:58
Nelson Mathew 2020-04-10 22:08:13

It’s like asking ” is boing 737 fast? I wanna fly to New York”!
And I’ll say “No, Mig-35 is faster!”
But you will not fly Mig-35 to New York, nobody will let you do this!
